Parking at O2 match days
Has anyone tried parking near the O2 and getting the Jubilee Line on match days ?

i also have pulled the following ruse a number of times.

if you park in the car park of the aquatic centre and dont use the gym or go swimming, you only have access to the ticket machine outside, which charges you £25. however, if you go into the gym and say "i only just left but forgot to get my parking ticket done" they'll let you through and the ticket machine inside will charge you on how long youve been there.

Huggie, that's terrible advice. Drive from Canterbury to Surrey Quays? That's a fucking nightmare. He's going to want to drive back from the A2 proper, not navigate the South Circular.

Park for free at Decathlon Surrey Keys, walk to Canada Water and get the tube from there. Closer to Camberwell too.

Depends - if there’s something on at the O2 during the day then it’s usually busy, otherwise the pay and display’s are fine.

Tube is obviously a piece of puss from there, but don’t leave it too late (obviously) otherwise it gets rammed

Drive to Cutty Sark and leave your motor in the underground car park there, use the tube between match and hospital and back to Cutty Sark then drive back down the A2 and M2 to Canterbury. Piece of piss.

Does it get busy normally ?,I usually go by train from Canterbury, but I’ve got to go to Hospital in Camberwell and I live in Kent,so ideally want to park south side

Its all Parking Zones round there.

You can use the pay and display car park outside the tube station.
